The goal of the current research is to develop a novel instrument that will separate and remove the active components of the anti-cancer drug compounds thymol and carvacrol from the thyme plant. The most important details are that a porous, stable, and impenetrable solid phase extraction hand-made disc was created using chemically modified stainless steel plates. A multi-walled polythiophene/carbon nanotube polymer was electrospun onto a steel sheet to create a disk, which was then created using Dynamic-SPE PVA/PTh/Fe3O4-Disk-HPLC-UV technology. Pre-concentration and selective purification of thymol and carvacrol phenolic components from thyme plant extract were carried out using the developed disc in solid-phase dynamic extraction. The pre-concentrated extract's quantity was determined using HPLC-UV. The modified metal disk (Dynamic-SPE-PVA/PTh/Fe3O4-Disk) has a high extraction effectiveness and a low detection limit for quantifying phenolic compounds in medicinal plants. Comparisons between the designed disk and several commercial SPE disks revealed that the designed disk had greater accuracy and precision in the extraction and preconcentration of thymol and Carvacrol. The fields of pharmaceuticals and material technology can both benefit from the use of this disk. The newly developed tool may serve as a good upgrade to the previous extraction methods. Pre-concentration is carried out using this process in a greenish and selective manner. On the other hand, this disc can be used in a variety of labs and research centers, food industries and etc.
